Medical Illustration & Animation is proud to introduce N. Lee Wade, an accomplished and versatile medical and technical illustrator.

About the Artist: N. Lee Wade holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Technology/Technical Graphics as well as an Associate of Science (AS) in Technical Illustration from Western Kentucky University, and studied illustration and graphic design at Central Academy of Commercial Art in Cincinnati, Ohio.

After working as an illustrator and Graphic Designer for design studios and ad agencies in Atlanta and Louisville, he established Wade Illustration & Design, Inc. in 1996.

N. Lee Wade has an outstanding reputation for his medical and medical-legal work with numerous law firms, physicians and hospitals in Kentucky and served for a number of years as medical illustrator for the Norton Leatherman Spine Center, Louisville, Kentucky.

Along with his medical illustration work, N. Lee Wade has worked with a myriad of companies developing logos, promotional material, packaging design as well as patent drawings, technical drawings, editorial illustrations including the cover of the monthly “Journal of the Kentucky Medical Association” for over 20 years. He has been a professional member of the Association of Medical Illustrators since 2015.

N. Lee Wade is also an accomplished Fine Artist.
