Maxwell Yeager is a master illustrator specializing in the creation of scalable vector illustrations and diagrams for printed textbooks and for use in biology digital learning modules. Growing up, he had a passion for drawing and found himself captivated by the natural sciences. It wasn’t until later in his educational career that Maxwell learned he could combine both of his passions into one occupation. This revelation lead him to earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with a minor in Art History from Case Western Reserve University. From there, he went on to receive a Master of Fine Arts in Medical Illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology.
As a Medical Illustrator, Maxwell see himself not only an artist, but as an educator as well. His goal is to create clear and engaging visuals that can be readily accessible and appreciated by all audiences. From creating zoological illustrations to modeling in Maya, Maxwell is constantly learning new techniques, utilizing new technologies, producing art, and loving what he does.
