According to the American Diabetes Association, almost 30 million adults and children in the United States have diabetes and as many as 1 in 3 American adults will have diabetes by 2050 if present trends continue.

As a nationwide epidemic, diabetes education is crucial to help keep this disease at bay, as well as to spread awareness among the current population currently living with it.
