KO Studios specializes in high-end medical illustrations and animations for the medical and biotech industries. Steve Oh started the company under the name of StudiOh Medical art in 1992 and was joined by Myriam Kirkman-Oh in 1998 when the company became KO Studios.
Both illustrators graduated from the Medical College of Georgia’s Medical Illustration program and before starting their own company, each worked for a variety of diverse institutions, including Georgetown University, University of Mississippi Medical Center, Joan Beck Visual Communications, Krames Communication, Barrow Neurological Institute, and Arizona Heart Institute among others.
