The first thing we do when contacted about a project is arrange a time to talk through the details with our client. Usually this is a phone conversation or email, but sometimes we’ll meet face-to-face.

We ask about the project, how the illustrations will be used, what kind of reference materials are available, proposed timelines and if there are any special budget considerations.

Next we put together a list that describes the illustrations. After we agree on this list, we create an estimate that includes delivery dates (for sketches, revisions and final art), delivery media and payment terms. Once the estimate is signed off, we start the project.

Doesn’t sound too difficult, right? Contact us and we’ll get started.
