Designed for Australia’s leading medical journal, Medicine Today, this illustration by medical artist Michele Graham depicts the pancreas in relation to its surrounding organs. Michele Graham has been a professional member of the Association of Medical Illustrators since 1997.  After completed a Master of Science in Anatomy with a concentration in Medical Illustration and a Master of Fine Art in drawing, Michele spent over seventeen years working in the field of medical illustration. Some of Michele’s other key experiences that have her experience in developing scientific graphics include teaching both anatomy and drawing at Colorado State University and teaching both anatomy and art in the Nursing and Liberal Arts Programs at the College of the Marshall Islands, Micronesia. Specializing in anatomical, clinical, editorial, legal, and fine art illustrations, Michele applies her extensive knowledge on creating accurate, attention-grabbing graphics to provide captivating visuals for a variety of scientific projects.
